Working with Assets Add Asset (Manual)

Create an Asset with your data instead of one of the verified sources.

  1. Click Create Asset

  2. Click 'Create Manual'

  3. Select the Asset Type to load the available data fields.

    Vehicle: Vehicle assets that have a verified registration plate with the DVLA.
    Trailer: Trailer assets that have a verified registration plate with the DVSA.
    Other: All other assets

  4. Enter the data requested by the fields on the screen and click Save.

Temporary ID

If all identifiers are not populated then the asset will only be given a temporary ID rather than an Open Asset ID. This identifier is only applicable to your company,
